For most businesses, it is inevitable that change is going to happen. If you are in leadership, it may fall to you to implement the strategy around this change. Be it big or small, positive or negative, straightforward or complicated, any sort of change usually means that someone on your team is going to be impacted.
An important element of your change management strategy is communication. Words, tone of voice, even facial expressions are all part of how a leader communicates change to their team. Collaboration is another key tool in change management. When a team is committed to your vision and mission, they want an active role in how the change will play out.
A good leader capitalizes on that and works together with their team on implementation.
Change management is about presence, compassion and awareness of one’s role in different (often emotionally charged) situations. I share some more thoughts on change management during this week’s episode of PRGN Presents podcast series.
https://prgnpodcast.comChange management is in many ways “a black belt skill” in leadership and should be treated as such. Listen in to learn more.
